NO GAS SUPPLY: The Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) has completely banned issuance of urgent connections and stopped implementation on under-process cases.

An SNGPL source said hundreds of gas supply cases had been lying pending with regional offices for the last several years while people were getting connections on an urgent basis after depositing double fee due to an inordinate delay in issuance of connections with single fee.

When contacted, the regional manager of the company said gas connections would be issued on merit now.
