Dawn staffer grieved

FAISALABAD, Feb 22: Misbahuddin Khan, father of Dawn staff correspondent, Shamsul Islam Naz, died of protracted illness here on Friday. He was 84.

He left behind five sons — Javed Shaukat Hayat Khan, Ziaul Islam Khan, Dr Noorul Islam Khan, Shamsul Islam Naz and Qamarul Islam Khan and a daughter.

He was buried in Ghulam Muhammadabad graveyard. Scores of people belonging to all walks of life attended his funeral prayers.

Qul will be held at 9am on Feb 28 (Sunday) at Jamia Masjid, Gobindpura, street No 6.
