KARACHI, Feb 21: Seven ships carrying steel, containers and to load naphtha are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Thursday, according to KPT sources.

Four ships, Victory Ocean and Hartati, oil tankers, Comoron Pride and APL Yokohama to unload and load containers were berthed on Wednesday.

Only one ship, Sea Princess, departed on Wednesday, while APL Yokohama, Hartati and Hyundai Sprinter are due to sail out on Thursday.

Total tonnage handled remained on the lower side, totalling 29,188 tons comprising 11,591 tons of export cargo including 3,105 tons of rice and 238 tons of kinoo, while import tonnage amounted to 17,597 tons.

The following ships are due on Thursday: Sagamore to load 31,000 tons of naphtha, Swat and Lalazar to unload crude oil, Conti Express with steel cargo, Oel Esteem, Eric G. Gibson and CMA CGM Victoria with containers.
