Robbers strike at ex-MPA’s house

LAHORE, Feb 20: Robbers plundered cash and valuables from the house of a former MPA in Factory Area on Tuesday.

Robbers barged into Mian Ahsanul Haq’s house at Army Housing Society, held the family members hostage and managed their escape with cash, jewellery, cell phones and other valuables.

However, the police did not confirm the incident.

Some armed people entered 14-A Bhatti Colony in Model Town, held up the inmates and took away cash, gold ornaments, cell phones and a car (LHV-5676).

Three robbers stormed into Nayyar Farooq’s flat in Askari Colony, south cantonment and made off with valuables.

Two robbers came to Shahid’s shop in Ghaziabad and took away cash and valuables at gunpoint. Two bandits intercepted a woman in Ravi Road area and deprived her of a gold ring, two ear-rings and three bangles at gunpoint.

Three people intercepted a passer-by in Cavalry Ground and snatched cash in thousands and a cell phone while two men took away cash and a cell phone from a passer-by in front of Mughalpura police station.

Three robbers came to Major Farooq’s house in north cantonment, held the family hostage and managed to escape with Rs40,000, jewellery and a cell phone.

Three bandits barged into Muhammad Bashir’s house in Ravi Road area and took away valuables worth over Rs100,000.

Two robbers forced their entry into Aslam’s house in Hanjarwal and deprived his family of valuables worth Rs100,000.

Two dacoits intercepted Muhammad Sarwar and his family in Sattokatla area and deprived them of cash, jewellery and cell phones.

Mohsin was robbed of cash, a cell phone and car in Iqbal Town area. Two citizens were deprived of cash and cell phones in Iqbal Town and Harbanspura areas.

LIFTED: A car was reportedly lifted from Nawankot while four motorcycles were taken away from Civil Lines, Factory Area, Mughalpura and Gulberg areas.
