Mansoor grabs five wickets

KARACHI, Feb 19: Leg-spinner Mansoor Ahmed took five wickets and Wajihuddin hit a century as Nazimabad Gymkhana crushed Young Cooperators Cricket Club by 297 runs in a NBP-KCCA Inter Club Championship match at Jinnah College Ground here on Sunday.

Wajih smashed eight fours and two sixes as Nazimabad Gymkhana posted 382-8 in their 40 overs. Young Cooperators CC, in reply, were bundled out for 85 in the 18th over. Mansoor took five wickets for 22.

Meanwhile, Asifabad Sports defeated AAS Cricket Club by 40 runs at the Asghar Ali Shah Stadium. Yasir Hussain hit 79 and Naseer Nazir picked 4-35 for the winners.
