KARACHI: Upgradation of Korangi parks

KARACHI, Feb 19: Nazim of Korangi Town Muhammad Arif Khan on Monday visited all the parks situated in the limits of Korangi Town and ordered the district town officer (DTO) for parks to renovate and upgrade all parks of the area.

The nazim also directed the DTO to ensure the presence of all the staff concerned to parks on their duty otherwise stern action would be taken against them.

The Korangi nazim, who was accompanied with Naib Nazim Muhammad Asghar Qureshi, TMO Dr Mukhtar A.Palejo and the DTO for parks during his visit also ordered new plantation, renovation and restoration of the lighting system in the parks besides making arrangements to prohibit smoking on the premises of the parks.—APP
