KARACHI, Feb 8): Three ships carrying containers and high speed diesel oil were accommodated berths at QICT and Fotco Terminal during the last 24 hours, said a PQA press release on Thursday.

Meanwhile, another container ship also arrived at the outer anchorage. Berth occupancy stood at 70pc as eight ships, ACX Jasmine, CGM Tulip, Annie Sierra, Ibn-Yonus, Chemroad Haya, Ocala, Difko Suzanne and Gertrud Salmon, were busy in loading and unloading containers, rice, edible oil seeds, HSD oil and coke.

A cargo volume of 94,590 tons comprising 77242 tons of import and 17,348 tons of export tonnage was handle.

Sailing was active as Getrud Salamon and ACX Jasmine left the port while Ocala, Chemroad Haya and CMA Tulip were due to depart.
