KARACHI, Feb 20: The Pakistan Advertising Association (PAA) and one of its component groups, the Advertising Practitioner’s Guild (APG), have decided to pool their resources and expertise to revitalize the advertising industry and bring it up at par to international standards.

Under an agreement recently reached between the two here, the APG will actively participate in the PAA and jointly, under the umbrella of the latter, strive to pull the advertising industry out of the current crisis following the events of September 11, 2001, says a press release.

Commenting on the understanding reached between the two, PPA chairman Sajjad Gul said, “There is complete unity of thought between the PAA and the APG, and I am confident that the synergy created by the two will take Pakistan’s advertising industry to new heights and breed greater professionalism and strength”.
