Encroachments removal

PESHAWAR, Feb 1: Immediate removal of encroachments from roads, especially in bazaars and towns, was ordered by the NWFP minister for local government and rural development Sardar Muhammad Idrees. He asked the district and Tehsil Municipal Administration (TMA) to take urgent steps in this regard. He said that not a single complaint in this regard would be tolerated.

Presiding over a meeting at the TMA Office, Haripur, on Thursday which was also attended by the DCO and TMO Haripur, he felt concerned about the situation and directed removal of handcarts from the footpaths.—APP
