Two killed, 24 hurt as wagons collide

TOBA TEK SINGH, Jan 31: Two people were killed and at least 24 others injured on Wednesday when two wagons collided head-on near Gojra. A wagon, coming from Faisalabad, collided with another wagon near Chaudhry Sugar Mills in a bid to save a motorcyclist who had suddenly appeared on the road. Wagon owner Haji Maqsood and conductor Muhammad Afzal died on the spot while 24 others wounded. Five of them were admitted to Gojra THQ hospital, while 16 were shifted to Allied Hospital Faisalabad.
