Presentation on textile marketing

ISLAMABAD, Jan 31: Vice President of Werner International and Director of the Strategy and Marketing Department, Dr Gian Mario Borney, will give a detailed presentation on Thursday on textile marketing strategy for Pakistan.

An official announcement issued here on Wednesday said that the presentation will be attended, among others, by Federal Minister for Textile Ministry Mushtaq Ali Cheema and other stakeholders

Dr Borney has already developed marketing strategies for industries, like Turkey and Mexico.

Werner International is presently conducting a study for promotion of textile industry and exports of Pakistan under the textile ministry, in coordination with the Aptma.

The study encompasses the benchmarking of various sectors of Pakistani textile and apparel industry. These include spinning weaving, ginning, processing and woven garments.

The purpose of the study on textile industry is to strengthen its position and competitiveness on volume productions while developing the skills for targeting higher value -added segments.
