Two rockets explode in Quetta

QUETTA, Jan 26: Two rockets exploded in the provincial metropolis at brief intervals on Friday night.According to police, one of the rockets exploded in the Shahbaz Town residence of Khalid Khan Kakar, elder brother of PML senator Malik Sarwar Khan Kakar. Khalid Khan is a former Senator of the Pakistan People’s Party.

The room in which the former senator was sitting at the time of the attack was badly damaged but he and his family were unhurt.

The second rocket exploded on the roof of a residential building in the same area, damaging walls of at least two houses.

According to another report four people were injured in a landmine explosion in the Dera Bugti area.
