In her statement issued here on Sunday, she criticised the Sindh chief minister’s remarks about the twin islands off Karachi coast, and said: “In fact, the Sindh government’s ignorance about the sale of the islands, as admitted by Dr Arbab Rahim himself, is a shame.

A chief minister who does not have the potential to fight the case of Sindh and has to beg ministers to withdraw from MoUs is unfit to rule over the province. As such, he should either quit voluntarily or be removed from his office,” she argued.

She said the PPP chairperson, Benazir Bhutto, would be returning this year and anyone indulged in fabricating other stories was making desperate attempts to divert people’s attention from his incapability.

She said Ms Bhutto was returning home to lead the country into democracy and a truly enlightened era.
