PESHAWAR, Jan 20: MPA Maulana Mohammad Idrees has said that development projects worth billions of rupees have been undertaken in the PF-20 constituency of Charsadda district, while a number of such projects have already been completed.

He was speaking at the inauguration ceremony of the newly-established water supply project of Haji Jamroz Khan Kaley in the areas of Dhakki Union Council, Tangi, on Saturday. The project was approved by NWFP Chief Minister Akram Khan Durrani during his visit to the constituency.

Maulana Idrees said the residents of the area would greatly appreciate the Umarzai-Hari Chand road when it would be inaugurated. He said completion of other ongoing projects, like schools, roads, water supply schemes and hospitals, would change the living standards of people residing in the hitherto neglected areas.

He said the MMA-led provincial government was providing the basic facilities to people without any discrimination.

Earlier, Haji Zafar Khan and Haji Danishmand of the JUI-F Charsadda chapter appreciated steps taken by the MMA government for development of the area, especially the PF-20 constituency.—PPI
