PPP accuses Arbab of victimisation

THATTA, Dec 20: Hundreds of activists belonging to the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) took out a procession to protest against political victimisation of party workers by the Sindh chief minister, here on Wednesday.

Carrying banners and placards, they blocked the National Highway and raised slogans against implication of PPP activists in false cases, forcible occupation of party workers’ properties and other vindictive acts.

The protesters, led by PPP Sindh president, Syed Qaim Ali Shah, the District President Arbab Wazir Memon and former MNA Babu Ghulam Hussain, gathered at rickshaw stop.

Syed Qaim Ali Shah said that days of rulers are numbered as people would vote PPP to power in the next general elections. He said political victimization of party workers must be stopped, otherwise, the party will react against the oppressors.
