KARACHI, Dec 20: Four vessels carrying soyabean meal, containers and to load molasses are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Thursday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was active where five ships, CMA CGM Potomac, APL Jeddah and Iran Kordestan to unload and load containers, Pacific Express to offload and load general cargo and Badulu Valley to offload soyabean meal were berthed after the departure of as many.

The ships which departed included Tower Bridge, Produce, Iran Kordestan, Iran Martin and CMA CGM Potomac, while Johar, APL Jeddah, Qatari Ibn al-Fuja’A, Pacific Express, Hyundai Highway and Harmony.

A total tonnage of 95,465 tons comprising 18,429 tons of export cargo including 4,374 tons of rice and 77,036 tons of import cargo was handled.

The following ships are due on Thursday: Asdrubal to load 13,000 tons of molasses, Calvin P Titus, Oel Esteem to unload and load containers and Precious with 9,500 tons of soyabean meal.
