Agreement with China comes into force

BEIJING, Dec 12: Pakistan and China on Tuesday exchanged Instruments of Ratification of Agreement on Cooperation in combating terrorism, secessionism and extremism.

Pakistan Ambassador to China Salman Bashir and Chinese Vice Foreign Minister Wu Dawei exchanged papers at a ceremony in Beijing.

With the exchange of Instruments of Ratification, the agreement has come into effect. It would cement and provide legal framework for effective cooperation between the two countries in combating terrorism, secessionism and extremism.
