ISLAMABAD, Dec 9: Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz will embark on a six-day visit to Yemen and Saudi Arabia today (Sunday).
The visit is part of the government's endeavours to forge closer interaction with brotherly countries in the Middle East.
Frequent high-level contacts are the hallmark of these fraternal bonds.
During the visit to Yemen, the prime minister will hold extensive talks with Prime Minister Ba Jamal and call on President Saleh.
Three agreements are likely to be signed during the upcoming visit.
The visit programme also include the prime minister meeting with key Yemeni leaders.
The prime minister’s visit to the kingdom will focus on augmenting the mutually beneficial relations in trade, investment, energy, education, science and technology, and export of skilled manpower.
During the stay in Riyadh and Jeddah, the prime minister will meet prominent Saudi business leaders and investors.
He will also lay the foundation of new building complex of the consulate general of Pakistan in Jeddah, and address the Pakistani community.
