KARACHI: 91,154 pilgrims airlifted

KARACHI, Feb 16: The month-long pre-Haj operation completed with the airlifting of 91,154 pilgrims to Saudi Arabia through 238 flights.

The last flight with 472 Haj pilgrims on board left for Jeddah from Lahore on Saturday.

This year, PIA carried out its operation through its own fleet without taking any craft on lease. The post-Haj operation will start from February 26 to carry back the pilgrims.—APP
