SSGC take flying start

KARACHI, Nov 20: Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) took a flying start by dismissing Karachi Electric Supply Corporation (KESC) for 195 on the opening day of their Patrons Trophy grade-II tie at the Asghar Ali Shah Stadium here on Monday.

Javed Mansoor hit 79 off 97 deliveries with the help of 12 boundaries and a six for KESC.

Left-arm pacer Waqar Ahmed snapped up three wickets for 52 runs in ten overs.

At close of day’s place, SSGC scored 122 for loss of three wickets. Shadab Kabir was top-scorer with 41.
