MITHI: Demand to clear village of rainwater

MITHI, Nov 5: Residents of Boorji village, Mirpurkhas taluka, have appealed to the district administration to drain out rain water stagnating in and around their village.

Talking to newsmen here on Sunday, they complained that stagnant water since last two and half months, has completely destroyed their crops.

The stagnant water was also increasing number of cases of gastroenteritis, malaria and water-borne diseases.—BoC
