Woman assaulted

ISLAMABAD, Oct 20: A female factory worker was allegedly raped by her colleague and his two accomplices, the police said here on Friday.

The prime accused, a driver in a beverages, company offered a ride to his colleague when she was waiting for bus at Kak Bridge.

The accused took the woman to a deserted place on Japan Road where he along with two other accomplices raped her.

The victim’s father lodged a complaint with the Sihala police who registered a case and started investigation.

The police said that physical and medical check up of the victim had been carried out and they were waiting for the medical legal certificate.
