Mazari joins PPP

LAHORE, Oct 20: Mir Balakh Sher Mazari, a former caretaker prime minister, joined the PPP. He announced his decision at a meeting in London where Ms Benazir Bhutto, Makhdoom Amin Fahim, Raja Pervaiz Ashraf, Sherry Rehman, Sardar Assef Ahmed Ali, Wajid Shamsul Hasan and Rehman Malik were also present.

Ms Bhutto welcomed the veteran leader’s decision.

Mr Fahim said that now the PPP’s position in Rajanpur district would improve. — Staff Reporterc
