KARACHI, Oct 20: An Alwidah Mah-i-Ramzan function comprising Naat and Qirat recital and a gorgeous display of Eid greetings cards was held at Defence Authority Degree College for Men here on Friday.

Speaking on the occasion, principal of the college Capt Ahmed Zaheer (retd) stressed on the importance of the role of extra curricular activities in the overall academic process. He highly appreciated and commended the participants on their inspiring recitals and announced a special award of Rs1,000 for a student on his recital of a Kasida.

Earlier in the day, a vibrant and delightful exhibition of students’ Eid greetings cards was held under auspices of the fine arts department. The display of greeting cards amply depicted the skills and aptitude of students.—PPI
