KARACHI, Oct 12: The Korangi Fish Harbour Authority Employees Union has urged the authorities not to restore the cancelled commercial plots that were earlier allotted and then subsequently cancelled by the authority.

The union said that it had been raising the issue of the illegal allotments and the authority had cancelled these allotments some time back, but the influential allottees have once again manipulated and now a summary was being moved to restore allotments.

The union urged the authorities to institute a probe into the issue and find out how illegal allotments were done initially, and how after the cancellation, these were again being restored.
