KARACHI, Oct 11: Police on Wednesday arrested two suspects involved in street crimes and extortion. The two were employed as drivers in Clifton and the DHA.

TPO Clifton Azad Khan said the two suspects -- identified as Muhammad Anwar and Momin Ali -- were working as drivers and at the same time were committing dacoities and extortion using the vehicles of their employers without their knowledge.

They used to get the details of friends of their employers and at a later stage used to make extortion from them over the telephone, the TPO added.

Several cellphones and pistols were seized from them.
