ISLAMABAD, Sept 20: The chemical examiner’s report in a rape case confirmed that the South African teenager was assaulted. The father of the victim, a South African national working with a defence organisation, told the police that his 16-year-old daughter, an O-level student, had gone to a party with her friend in sector F-6/3 on the night of August 12.
He alleged that the accused identified as Saqib Ejaz Malik, 18, also a student, took her to a guest house in F-8/3 and raped her.
Police claimed that during the party Malik met the girl and offered that he would drop her. However, they went to a guest house where the incident took place.
Multiple bruises were also found on her body during her medical examination at the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences.
The police said the main accused was still at large, adding that the court of law had declared him a proclaim offender.
The police arrested owner of the guest house, Akhtar Shaikh, manger Gul Zaman and night clerk Adeel for renting out a room without asking for documents. However, later they got bail from the court.
Meanwhile, the car of a senior journalist was stolen near Kohsar police station.
Ilyas Chaudhry told the police that he had parked the car (FDT-6405) in front of a Chinese restaurant from where it was lifted.
