SUKKUR: 15 suspects arrested

SUKKUR, Sept 20: Police arrested 15 suspects during an early morning raid on Bachal Shah Miani village on Wednesday and shot and injured a woman when she put up resistance.

Reports reaching here said that a heavy contingent of police led by TPO Liaqat Abbasi cordoned off Bachal Shah Miani and ransacked the houses of Mirani clan. When they put up resistance police opened fire seriously injuring the woman, Fatima Mirani. Later, police arrested some 15 suspects including Kamran, Jadal, Allah Rakhio, Jamalo, Ishtiaq, Muneer and others.—Correspondent
