LAHORE, Feb 12: Punjab University retained the title defeating Karachi University in the Inter-varsity boys table tennis final 3-2 Tuesday.

Peshawar University defeated Shah Abdul Latif Bhitai University, Khairpur 3-2 to take third position.

Punjab University bt Karachi University (Mohammad Iqbal bt Kashif Khawaja 8-11, 6-11, 11-9, 11-7, 9-11. Ghazanfar Ali bt Imran Jamal 11-7, 8-11, 11-5, 11-9. Rao Awais Mukhtar bt Safwan Hashmi 11-8, 11-4, 11-5. Ghazanfar Ali lost to Kashif Khawaja 11-6, 8-11, 8-11, 11-3, 6-11. Mohammad Iqbal bt Imran Jamal 11-5, 11-5, 11-7).
