PESHAWAR, Sept 12: NWFP Health Minister Inayatullah has ordered an increase in the age-limit for candidates seeking admission to paramedical institutes of the province from 25 to 35 years.
He issued the directives while presiding over a meeting convened to discuss problems facing paramedical institutes on Tuesday.
The meeting decided to increase the age limit to 35 years also for those paramedics who had passed diploma courses and were waiting for certificates.
Moreover, the meeting decided to constitute a committee, headed by Dr Mehmood Alam, rector, Provincial Health Services Academy, to revise the curricula of various paramedical technologies.
