NOWSHERA, Feb 12: Two women and a man died when their relatives opened indiscriminate fire on them in their house at Dehri Katikhel near Nowshera Cantonment.

Three of the assailants escaped the scene whereas one suffered bullet wounds during firing by his associates.

The complainant, Mah Pari, told the police that her daughter, Kausar, had given birth to a baby 10 days ago and she was at her home to nurse her. Mah Pari said that her son Abid and daughter-in-law Shehla accompanied her.

Mah Pari said that accused Jawed entered the house with his son Gulraiz and two others, Asif and Sajjad. They all, she alleged, opened fire, hitting Kausar and Shehla.

The accused while fleeing also killed Abid, who was outside the residence, said Mah Pari.
