KARACHI, Feb 12: A division bench of Sindh High Court , comprising Justice Ghulam Nabi Soomro and Justice Sarmad Jalal Osmany, on Tuesday admitted Saadia Imam, a TV artist, to bail against a solvent surety of Rs100,000.

The accused was booked by Civil Lines police, Lahore, in a bank fraud case.

Syed Ali Askari was the main accused in the case of cheating with Askari Bank. According to him, he had paid Rs3 million to accused Saadia Imam.

The SHC bench, granting pre-arrest protective bail to the accused/applicant till Feb 27, directed her to surrender before the trial court. — APP
