JACOBABAD: Demand for raise in wages

JACOBABAD, Sept 7: The All Rice Mills Labour Union took out a procession here on Thursday demanding raise in their wages. The procession started from Anaj Mandi and after marching on different roads of the town reached the local press club.

Carrying banners and placards, they raised slogans for increase in their wages and also observed a token hunger strike for two hours.

Speaking on the occasion, Mashooq Ali, Bundoo Khan, Dur Mohammad and Abdul Sattar said wages should be increased keeping in view the prices of kitchen and food items.

BOOKS DISTRIBUTED: Union council Nazim Anwar Ali Soomro on Thursday distributed textbooks among students from primary to matriculation free of cost.
