KARACHI, Aug 30: The British Council has invited applications from Pakistanis for one-year postgraduate study in the United Kingdom. A British Council press release stated that applications for the British Chevening scholarship funded by Foreign and Commonwealth Office and administered by British Council for 2007-08 could be submitted up to Sept 7.

The scholarships, for one-year postgraduate study in the UK, will cover full cost of study in the subjects of business administration, economics, media studies, public administration, international relations, human rights, social development, law, gender studies and management.
