KHAIRPUR, Aug 23: Police claimed to have arrested an outlaw here early on Wednesday morning. Sources said the police had received a tip-off about the presence of Khamiso alias Amir Bux Sehto on the National Highway near the Kumb-Nawabshah link road.

A police party led by Kotdiji TPO Munir Ahmed Phulpoto reached the spot and arrested Khamiso who was trying to escape.

Khairpur DPO Javed Jiskani told reporters that Khamiso was an accomplice of bandit Suleman Kaleri, who was also arrested by Guloo Siyal police a week ago and had escaped with him from prisoners ward of the Khairpur Civil Hospital.

At a public appearance on Wednesday at Pir Jo Goth Dargah Sharif, he directed them to take care of their neighbours and respect their parents and other elderly persons.
