KARACHI, Aug 21: The following were Monday’s commodity market rates in rupees.

Oilseeds

RAPESEED (per 40 kg): Dadulane 700 to 750; Mirpurlane 790 to 795; Nawabshah 850 to 860; Castorseed (Punjab) 730 to 780.

EDIBLE OILS (per 40 kg): Coconut oil 3,500 to 4,000; Rapeseed and Mustard oil 2,000 to 2,200; Ghee Vanaspati (per 16 kg) 318 to 320.

Cereals

MAIZE (per 100 kg): 750 to 800; Barley 1,075; Bajra 950 to 1,250; Wheat Mexi Pak 1,120 to 1,140; Bajra 950 to 1,250; Maida (80 kg) 1,090 to 1,130; Suji 1,050 to 1,090; Atta 950 to 990.

RICE (per 100 kg): 386 Basmati 2,150 to 2,200; Basmati Whole 3,000 to 3,400; Basmati 385 Saila 2,550 to 2,600; Basmati Broken 1,400 to 1,800; Basmati Super 2,450 to 3,800; Irri-6 Sindh 1,360; Irri-9 Sindh 1,650 to 1,700.

Pulses

WHOLE (per 100 kg): Mash imported 4,125; Masoor imported 2,650 to 2,750; Moong (Punjab) 4,500; Moong (Imported) 4,000; Gram Yellow 1,450 to 1,500; Gram white Kabli 4,000 to 4,600; Gram Black 2,400 to 2,800 Arhar 2,850 to 3,150.

WASHED (per 40 kg): Maash 2,300 to 2,380; Moong 2,100 to 2,200; Masoor 1,200 to 1,240; Arhar 1,400 to 1,500; Gram (100 kg) 3,500 to 3,575.

SUGAR (per 40 kg): 1,400 to 1,404; Sugar Desi 1,700 to 1,800; Gur 1,600 to 1,700.

Spices

The following are the maximum retail rates for Tuesday:

EGGS: Rs34 per dozen,

Broiler (Live): Rs90 per kilo,

Cull Bird (Live): Rs44 per kilo.
