MMA LEADER: A no-confidence motion against the prime minister will succeed only if MNAs from the ruling party are allowed to attend assembly proceedings.

This was claimed by MMA Punjab president Liaquat Baloch while talking to workers at the residence of JI city chief Saeed Nizami on Saturday night.

He claimed that a majority of the ruling party MNAs were in contact with the opposition and had assured their support in this connection. He said a grand alliance of opposition had come into existence.

After Peshawar, the Rawalpindi public meeting would be attended by heads of all opposition parties, he said. Liaquat Baloch criticised the government for its stance on Lebanon issue. He said the government should have taken a clear stand on Hizbullah and support to the people of Lebanon.

JI leaders Iqbal Wajid, Dr Saeed Nizami and Dr Abdul Qadeer Lashari also spoke on the occasion.
