KHAR (Bajaur Agency), Aug 20: Seven rockets were fired on a transmission tower of a private cellphone company in the Larkhalozo area of the Mamond tehsil on Saturday night.
The rockets landed in farmlands near the tower and caused no damage to life or property.
The political authorities on Sunday rounded up 10 tribesmen from nearby villages on suspicion of their involvement in the attack, officials said.
Sources said that the authorities had found some letters near the tower few days back, threatening that if work on the tower was not stopped it would be hit by rockets.
