SHENLEY (England), Aug 13: Heavy showers in the South East of England caused the second one-day game between Pakistan and West Indies to be called off before the scheduled start on Sunday.

Meanwhile, the first match at the Denis Compton Oval ended in a no-result on Saturday with Pakistan reaching 123 for three in 22 overs while chasing a target of 215 in 40 overs.

West Indies ‘A’ paceman Richard Kelly then struck with the new ball and Dwayne Smith removed Salman Butt as Pakistan slipped to 51 for three.

However, Imran Farhat enhanced his prospects of a Test recall with an unbeaten 43-ball 62 before the light closed in and the teams agreed to come off.
