SHEIKHUPURA, Aug 4: Three highwaymen shot dead a cab driver and drove away with his vehicle near Rana Town on Friday.
The bandits hired a taxicab from a local stand. As they reached a deserted place, they pulled their guns out, dragged taxi driver Umar, 40, out of the vehicle and shot and killed him when he put up resistance.
Umar was a resident of Al-Madad Colony in Ferozewala tehsil.— Correspondent
