KARACHI, July 12: The SBP on Wednesday directed exchange companies to submit the requisite information to its Exchange Policy Department (EPD) on the specific format provided to them with the circular.

According to the EPD Circular Letter No. 11/EPD.1 (95) EC-2006, the central bank in regard to reporting requirement under FE 08 of 2006, reminded the exchange companies that it was necessary to submit reports on a unified format so that uniformity in reporting could be assured.

The SBP said that this format would be used for weekly statement of export of foreign currencies (other than US$) and for reporting consolidated monthly statement of sale of FCY to the inter-bank market. —APP
