Zidane may visit Bangladesh

DHAKA, July 7: French soccer captain Zinedine Zidane is expected to pay a two-day visit to Bangladesh in November to inaugurate a food plant which will produce energy-giving yoghurt to meet the nutritional needs of the children.

Around 50 such plants will be set up in different parts of the country if the yoghurt produced by the plant is successful in reducing the nutritional deficiencies of children.

Apart from inaugurating the plant in Bogra, Zidane will also take part in various programmes to be organised by the Bangladesh Football Federation.

He will also meet the Bangladesh U-12 team and will take part in an international tournament.
