ISLAMABAD: Wildlife Management Board Islamabad on Saturday briefed the capital administration about ongoing firefighting measures to deal with forest fires.

The briefing was given to Deputy Commissioner and other officers of the administration during their visit at the WMBI Rescue and Rehabilitation centre.

Wildlife officials gave detailed briefing on range forest areas to them and informed about ongoing firefighting measures to deal with forest fires. Wildlife rescue and rehabilitation operations were also reviewed during the visit.

Besides, detailed briefing on the methods of rescue, treatment and rehabilitation of wild animals was also given to the administration’s officers.

The DC also reviewed measures for forest conservation and wildlife rescue. The wildlife officials also gave a briefing on various wild animals care and rehabilitation centers.
