ISLAMABAD: Three Pakistan players in different categories qualified for the final of the 33rd Asian Junior Individual Squash Championship in Panzhihua, China on Saturday.

According to the Pakistan Squash Federation (PSF), Pakistan’s Ahmed Rayan Khalil outclassed Julius Tan Lee Hau of Malaysia 11-5, 11-5, 11-5 in the boys’ U-15 semi-final in just 20 minutes.

Sohail Adnan of Pakistan, in the same category, lost to Malaysia’s Vidhurran Ruthiran 8-11, 11-5, 11-8, 8-11, 8-11 in a match that lasted 47 minutes.

In the boys’ U-17 division, another Pakistan player Nouman Khan faced a challenging semi-final against compatriot Mohammad Umair Arif. Nouman eventually won the 54-minute battle 11-3, 11-13, 11-6, 11-7.

In the girls U-15, Mahnoor Ali of Pakistan in a demanding last-four match beat Hong Kong’s Tang Cheng Suit 11-6, 11-9, 10-12, 11-4.
