HYDERABAD, June 28: General secretary of the Sindh PPP-SB Younus Bhan announced here on Wednesday that a series of demonstrations would be held and a signature campaign would be launched throughout the province in protest against the demolition of katchi abadis from July 1-10.

He also announced a black day throughout Sindh for July 5, the date when the democratic government of Z.A.Bhutto was toppled.

He was speaking at a party meeting of the city chapter held at Mashori house here on Wednesday.

He said the death anniversary of Shahnawaz Bhutto would be observed on July 18.

CIVIC CENTRE: Tando Mohammad Khan District Nazim Mir Inayat Ali Talpur on Wednesday laid the foundation stone of a civic centre.

It would be completed in one year at a cost of Rs20 million.

Speaking on the occasion, the nazim said that with the completion of the civic centre, business activities would increase.

He announced that cattle pens of the city would be shifted on the outskirts of Tando Mohammad Khan.
