KARACHI, Feb 8: The federal government has reduced the registration and work permit fee for illegal immigrants, said an announcement here on Thursday.

The registration fee for those aliens who want to register themselves with the National Aliens Registration Authority (NARA) has been reduced from Rs1,000 to Rs250 whereas the work permit fee slashed from Rs5,000 to Rs2,500 for two years.

This concession is available for a limited period, the announcement added.
