KARACHI: The Institute of Business Management (IoBM) hosted its annual career fair on Wednesday, bringing together 117 exhibitors from a wide range of industries.

Organisations representing IT services, pharmaceuticals, consumer products, fast-food chains, personal care, banking and financial services, media and others participated in the event, offering students exposure to diverse career pathways and evolving market trends, said an IoBM press release.

The exhibitors expressed enthusiasm about participating in the fair, describing it as a valuable platform to engage with the country’s emerging talent.

The event aimed to facilitate students’ transition from academia to the professional sphere. HR professionals and corporate representatives engaged with final-year students, offering industry insights, recruitment information and practical guidance to help bridge the gap between education and employment.

IoBM Chancellor Bashir Jan Mohammad and Tufail Chemical Industries Chairman Zubair Tufail were also present.
