KARACHI: Girl killed

KARACHI, June 8: A girl was shot dead and three others of a family were wounded when some people attacked their house in Sherpao Colony on Thursday.

Police said a quarrel between the Shahs and Rabbanis families had been lingering for the past few months after the Shahs had levelled allegation that their girl, Nadia, was abducted by the Rabbani family.

At the time of the attack, Ghulam Rabbani's wife Razia, 50, son Khair Nawaz, 30, daughters Sonia, 20, and Yasmeen, 16, were present and all were shot and wounded. The injured were shifted to a hospital where Sonia died.

Police arrested Rohail

Shah for attacking and killing and started search for his accomplices.
