SHEIKHUPURA, June 6: PPP MPAs have criticised the behaviour of the DHQ Hospital’s deputy medical superintendent. MPAs Uzma Bukhari and Faiza Malik visited the DHQ Hospital to inquire after the health of gastro patients. They approached DMS Dr Mubashir’s office owing to non-availability of the medical superintendent, but he did not allow them to visit the ward where the gastro patients had been admitted.
Later, the MPAs told newsmen that the DMS wanted to conceal the negligence and improper treatment which caused the death of more than 19 patients. They urged the health highups to take action against the DMS.
The DMS said he was busy in his routine work, so he failed to attend both the women properly.
