LAHORE, June 2: PCB has banned five players of Sialkot Region for two years besides black listing three schools for violating the rules of PCB school cricket tournament.

A spokesman of the PCB said on Friday that a report from PCB regional development officer, Sialkot revealed that Syed Alamdar Shah, Irfan Shah, Amanullah Khan and Hafiz Adeel and Umar Farooq were found involved in forgery by posing themselves as school students while some of them were also overaged.

New Model School Kharota Sayedan Sialkot, Government Jinnah Efficiency High School Sialkot and Government Jamiah High School Sheikhupura were blacklisted for their offense of forgery and fielding overaged players.

Irfan whorepresented New Model School and Amanullah who played for Jinnah school were actually students of Government Murray College Sialkot.

Adeel and Umar who were a part of Jamiah School team were overage.—APP
